Sangre de Cristo Mountains by Blumenschein Jigsaw Puzzle
Sangre de Cristo Mountains (1925) by EL Blumenschein is a vintage American West fine art landscape and daily life painting. A New Mexico Native American Indian tribe with snow covered mountains in winter in the background. A group of people are walking towards houses in their village. The Sangre de Cristo mountains (Spanish for "Blood of Christ") are the southernmost subrange of the Rocky Mountains.
About the artist:
Ernest Leonard Blumenschein (1874-1960) was an American artist. In 1897, during a Western trip he came to Taos, a territory of New Mexico. Struck by the sweeping landscapes and the diverse Native American, Spanish-American, and American cultures of the region, he determined then and there to work as a painter. He was a co-founder of the Taos Society of Artists and part of the Taos art colony which from 1898 was an important part of the life of Taos, New Mexico.

Unlike 2 earlier buys from you, both beautiful little puzzles, this one has very poor definition, A large guide picture included in box might be an idea too!

This was another great puzzle. A little difficult and that's what I was looking for. The kids loved helping me out. Image was amazing! Great quality.

This is a beautiful puzzle with just the right amount of difficult. I’m a puzzler and I really enjoyed doing this one.
There were two pitfalls. One, is that the pieces fit together a little too loosely for my liking. Two, I got a puzzle where the edges of all the pieces were lifting at the edges, like it wasn’t cut with a sharp blade. I called Zazzle and they sent me out a new one immediately! Zazzle was awesome to work with! The picture was amazing!!
