Saratoga Springs © is an original copyrighted artwork. Two women dressed for a day at the horse races with sunhats gently tilted, an umbrella unfurled and surrounded by flowers in an abstract background of horses and dogs, Saratoga Springs awash in colour and light. The scene captures the excitement of being at the races and the promise of who would be there and who would be noticed. Flowers in hues of yellows and reds, while soft shadows dance among the timeless moments. There's movement, but also stillness — like a moment suspended in memory.
This piece, rendered in an expressive, richly pigmented batik style, blends figurative forms with abstract texture. I like the design features on the website. They enable the fitting of a good quality Print to an existing frame.
This Print was of excellent quality. I would buy again.
One small gripe is that the image was not centred horizontally (about 3mm out) so needed trimming. No great hardship and may have been my fault in the setting-up.
Next time, I would choose to set the text below the picture to a smaller font.
Overall - Thank You! Looks good in its frame - Just as expected. I had a very expensive Gallery print of this before. It got damaged - hence the replacement. It compares very well.
