A castle sits in the distance, against a yellow and orange setting sky. Branches on the trees are barren. The black cat gives us a sneer as it looks directly into our eyes . Claws are out, and the black cat is ready for a Halloween fight. About the Vintage Black Cat Image The antique black cat illustration was by influential illustrator Arthur Rackham, who developed the cat image for a 1909 edition of Grimm’s Fairy Tales.

Really nice image fixed to the tiles in my shower as a background to a soap dish. This was to hide the marks left by a broken soap dish. Just used tile adhesive and white grout. I think it looks good, almost like the drips are falling from the soap dish. No probs. Nice image.
