For red riding hood fans out there, this is a very beautiful image of little red riding hood meeting the wolf in the woods. Old, spindly branches rise up from a gnarled tree. The woods are in their winter colors -- browns and tans surround little red riding hood's pure red cape. The wolf and little red riding hood are very small as compared to the trees and forest surrounding them, as if enveloping the two figures in the foreground.
About the Vintage Little Red Riding Hood Image
The antique image of Little Red Riding Hood and the wolf was by influential illustrator Arthur Rackham, who developed the owl image for a 1909 edition of Grimm’s Fairy Tales.
