The two grayhound dogs in this great poster print are my brother in laws elderly grayhounds, sadly the dogs have since passed on, but they were the best of friends. This tender painting was produced from a photo taken on a beautiful warm summers day in the back yard of their cottage. Sandy the fawn coloured grayhound was very hot and decided to have a rest, Winnie wanted to help her to cool down by giving her a refreshing all over lick, it must have helped because Sandy fell asleep almost instantly.
