Scottish Independence Burns To a Mouse Postcard

A postcard for Scottish independence supporters inspired by the poem To a Mouse, on Turning Her Up in Her Nest with the Plough by Scotland’s most famous poet Robert Burns. The collage shows the humble cottage of his birth and the metal sculpture of Tam O’Shanter wending his way home on the Poet’s Path in Alloway. Looking on is the 2m tall sculpture of the mouse, a ‘wee, sleekit, cowrin, tim’rous beastie’ no more. Top right is my version of the famous portrait of the bard by Alexander Nasmyth showing Rabbie wearing a Yes badge. #Yes2 #bairnsnotbombs
