Seine and Eiffel Tower at Sunset (1910) by Henri Rousseau is a vintage post impressionism fine art architectural painting. A setting sun is creating some beautiful colours in the sky and the reflection in the water. Lush trees and parks line the banks of the river in Paris, France. A cityscape featuring a bridge over the Seine River with a view of the Eiffel tower architecture in the distance. About the artist: Henri Julien Felix Rousseau (1844-1910) was a French Post Impressionist painter in the Naive genre, primitive manner or Primitivism. He was also known as Le Douanier, the customs officer.

Really nice image fixed to the tiles in my shower as a background to a soap dish. This was to hide the marks left by a broken soap dish. Just used tile adhesive and white grout. I think it looks good, almost like the drips are falling from the soap dish. No probs. Nice image.
