The Series 1 was where it all began for Land Rover. It entered production in 1948, original designed for farm and light industrial use. It had a steel box-section chassis and an aluminium body. Over the years, the older Land Rovers have become highly collectable vehicles. The classic image of the front grill and profile have become "TIMELESS!"
