Seurat La Grande Jatte Puzzle

My son enjoyed putting it together--I heard no complaints and he's a puzzle fiend. Took him about an hour. He's a fan of Sunday in the Park with George, so I bought it for the subject. It looked very good.

I really enjoyed doing this jigsaw as the colours are a delight. This is not only because the colours are aesthetically pleasing but also the pointillist arrangement enhances the colours. This is a very interesting painting, so you are motivated to learn about it from other sources as you progress with the jigsaw, making for a most fulfilling pastime. The jigsaw was excellently produced. The pieces fitted perfectly together and the image had a gloss coating. It did take several weeks to arrive but I find that acceptable due to the quality of the finished article.

Nice compact box, however, the picture of the jigsaw on the box is literally no more than 4 x 3 inches and as this is supposed to be a gift for someone to make the jigsaw based on the picture - I'm not sure how they are supposed to do that with such a small picture?! Can I suggest the box contains a larger picture of the jigsaw for those less able to see the extremely small details on the box sticker.
