Shakespeare Sonnet 55 (LV) on Parchment Photo Print

What would life be without poetry in general - or Shakespeare in particular? A while back, I decided to make products using Shakespeare's sonnets, but I felt my design was a bit unfulfilled at the time, so I revamped it a bit to something more to my liking. Traditional yet original. The background is a parchment texture I made a while back, and I also found a calligraphic typeface for it that has the almost unique feature of having both historical gravity as well as modern legibility. This particular one is sonnet 55 (LV), which reads: Not marble, nor the gilded monuments Of princes, shall outlive this powerful rhyme; But you shall shine more bright in these contents Than unswept stone, besmear'd with sluttish time. When wasteful war shall statues overturn, And broils root out the work of masonry, Nor Mars his sword, nor war's quick fire shall burn The living record of your memory. 'Gainst death, and all oblivious enmity Shall you pace forth; your praise shall still find room Even in the eyes of all posterity That wear this world out to the ending doom. So, till the judgment that yourself arise, You live in this, and dwell in lovers' eyes.
