Shibori is the ancient Japanese art of folding and twisting textiles, then applying dye to the exposed sides. Nowadays, this process is more commonly known as tie-dye. Our Shibori-inspired design features a dark indigo pattern. Indigo was the colour most frequently used in original Japanese Shibori textiles.

The application of this decoupage paper was very simple , applied with PVA glue on a plywood surface. The colour stayed true to paper before application . I used cling film to apply over ply wood , no wrinkles , very pleased with the result.
