Shinjuku Angel - I went to Japan a few months back (had a FANTASTIC time) - and was struck by the hyper urban style and energy of Tokyo. We had a great night out in Shinjuku which is a crazy nightspot by the busiest trainstation in the world. This inspired this painting - "Shinjuku Angel" - I've always thought that urban faeries and angels would hang out around the human crossroads of trainstations. This was fun to paint - all that neon! Shinjuku Angel looks a little overwhelmed, a little lost - but dressed to the hilt and with a great attitude - reflections of Shinjuku itself. I like the design features on the website. They enable the fitting of a good quality Print to an existing frame.
This Print was of excellent quality. I would buy again.
One small gripe is that the image was not centred horizontally (about 3mm out) so needed trimming. No great hardship and may have been my fault in the setting-up.
Next time, I would choose to set the text below the picture to a smaller font.
Overall - Thank You! Looks good in its frame - Just as expected. I had a very expensive Gallery print of this before. It got damaged - hence the replacement. It compares very well.
