Shipwreck Survivors on a Raft Jigsaw Puzzle
16” x 20” jigsaw puzzle with an image of an artwork by Charles Kannemans created in 1849. In this image, the ship on the left is going down while survivors on a raft are scrambling toward the rocky shore. Atop the rocks on the right there are a few survivors with a red flag. A pure blue sky is glimpsed through the gray and orange undulating clouds which are contrasted with the white foam of the waves. The puzzle was ok. The pieces were really small and they don’t include a blueprint to use. Which would be fine if the photo on the front of the box was larger, but it’s also very small and not really useful for details. I don’t think I’d buy another one from Zazzle until they start providing at least some sort of reference photo. .
