Shou Chinese Longevity Symbol • Blue and Yellow 3 Cm Round Badge

The Shòu character signifies a long and prosperous life in Chinese and is a key decorative emblem for Chinese weddings and other family events. Often this symbol of longevity is found incorporated into traditional fabric patterns such as silk brocade and tapestry. This series features this often radically redesigned and heavily stylised Chinese character in blue and yellow, with a very simple swirl background that puts a minimalist modern twist on old-school Chinese brocade patterns.
