This design features artwork by Norwegian painter Edvard Munch (1863–1944). It shows a blood-red sky, bridge with figures and a blue-green lake in the distance. It is an image of melancholy and existential angst. It can clearly be seen as a precursor to Munch's more famous painting titled "The Scream". The original painting was completed in 1892.

The application of this decoupage paper was very simple , applied with PVA glue on a plywood surface. The colour stayed true to paper before application . I used cling film to apply over ply wood , no wrinkles , very pleased with the result.
