Photographer Jan Baumgartner takes you off the beaten track to observe the colorful lives of these marvelous creatures with whom we share the beaches, waterways and skies. This calendar is a first for Baumgartner whose primary vocation is portrait photography (for people, not birds!) and marketing communications. Baumgartner visits Siesta Key two or three times a year to stay with friends—and to grow her collection of bird portraits so she may share them with bird- and nature-lovers from Florida and all parts of the world.
