Silent Greeting (by Lawrence Alma-Tadema) Medium Gift Bag

This design features a painting by the Dutch artist Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema (1836–1912). It shows an ancient Roman soldier greeting his wife by placing a hand on her shoulder as she sleeps. He has also placed some beautiful flowers on her lap as a gift. The lady is asleep on a sofa; she is wearing an elegant grey dress and she is barefoot. The soldier is wearing military attire and sandals; he has a large sword in a sheath on his waist. The surrounding architecture is made from stone and marble, displaying the elegance and luxury of their household. The original artwork was painted by Lawrence Alma-Tadema in 1889.
