Silver Sea Turtles Blue Shower Curtain

In Hawaii turtles are seen as a guardian spirit named “Aumakua.” It signifies grounded and calm navigation through live. As the turtle reminds us of the qualities of quiet, peaceful but determinded steps forward. In Hindu and Chinese cultures it is said that the turtle carries the weight of the land on its back and through carrying mother earth, it holds the world in balance. When it comes to animal symbolism the turtle is a great example of persistence, determination and endurance and has the ability to shield itself against harsh attack. This design was made by my son, already many years ago, when he had tough challenges to face in his own life. Therefore I use this design not only to honour this beautiful creature, it can be seen as a reminder of your own good qualities as well as a powerful totem for protection.
