The default card shape is standard sharp corners, but rounded corners also work wonderfully with this design, so try both looks in editing mode and see which strikes your fancy. On the front we've given this minimalist design a warm touch with a Merry Christmas greeting in a lively, relaxed script that feels intimate and familiar. This handwriting element of the design is in an elegant shade of burgundy and can't be altered, as it's an image. You can change the wording, colour, font or text size of any of the other text. Your name and the year text on the front is in the same shade of burgundy by default. But you might choose to change this to black, gold, or another colour, for example. Please remember to edit the year as well as replacing the sample name with your own first names or family name. You might decide to edit the front to show just your names without a year, or change the text to something completely different. On the front of the card we've set the background as transparent to let the colour of the paper simply serve as the base tone. You can change this by picking a colour in the editing tools if you'd like. On the back we've chosen a background colour called White Smoke. It's a very light grey that's mostly white. But you can edit this and make the background on the back transparent to show the colour of the paper, or you can choose a specific background colour that suits your style. We've picked black as the default colour for the text on the back, you can change this colour and you can also change the size and the font of the text. We've put some placeholder text on the back for you to replace with your own message, but please don't feel restricted by this. If you prefer to delete our placeholder text and then keep the back totally blank so that you can write a handwritten note on each card instead, you can of course do that. Or you might want to replace our text with your own message and your own closing and then hand sign your names when you receive the cards. We've chosen matte as the default paper type, as it is well suited to writing your own message on and won't smudge and complements this natural, understated design well. But you can of course change this to semi-gloss if you prefer a brighter look, and don't forget to check out zazzle's selection of premium papers!
