Snow, Boulevard de Clichy, Paris (1886) by Paul Signac is a vintage pointillism fine art painting. There are people walking around and the streets have tire marks so you can see where the cars have driven. A cityscape featuring an urban street scene in Paris, France in the winter with buildings and classic lampposts. The trees have lost their leaves and are covered in snow. About the artist: Paul Victor Jules Signac (1863-1935) was a French neo-impressionist painter who helped develop the pointillist style. With the influence of George Seurat he abandoned the short brushstrokes of impressionism to experiment with scientifically juxtaposed small dots of pure colour, intended to combine and blend not on the canvas but in the viewer's eye, the defining feature of pointillism.
