Sorry, Mum (Apology and Sympathy) Tile
This design features a painting by the French artist Émile Munier (1840–1895), who was a student of William-Adolphe Bouguereau (1825–1905). It shows a young girl cuddling and hugging her mother as she apologises for her mistakes or bad behaviour. The mum is loving and strokes the girl's hair with care. The two family members are reconciling. The young girl is looking up at her mother with large wet eyes, because she is feeling a lot of emotion. Both the woman and the girl are wearing silk dresses, ready to go to bed. It is a beautiful image of family love and the strength of the relationship between a daughter and her mother. The original title of the painting in French is "Pardon, mama", which means "Sorry, mum", and it was painted in 1888.

Really nice image fixed to the tiles in my shower as a background to a soap dish. This was to hide the marks left by a broken soap dish. Just used tile adhesive and white grout. I think it looks good, almost like the drips are falling from the soap dish. No probs. Nice image.
