Spooky Season Card

I went to a restaurant recently that had a lot of sunflower decor and it made me feel so nostalgic. Like when you are a kid during summer and your parents take you to a greenhouse. Yet, at the same time, sunflowers also make me think of fall. I think it is because the small rudbeckia is sold at the same time as the aster and mums. So I wanted to paint something with sunflowers, but also with a fall vibe. I added the books to build off the nostalgia as a reminder of going back to school as a kid. Then I added the coffee because we all know PSL season is the best. The leaves and ghosts just dropped by to say hello before their next stop.
