Image Sources (RLS 13 & 14): Both figures have been extracted from their respective antique chromolithographic images in the book Red Letter Saints: Being a Series of Biographies of those Saints for which Proper Collects, Epistles and Gospels are appointed in the Book of Common Prayer. Printed by E. Kaufmann, Lahr, Baden, Germany, for the Society for Promoting Christian Knowledge / S.P.C.K. (London, 1911), p. 7 (St.Paul) and p. 47 (St. Peter). From the designer’s private library. + Feast: June 29 + + Text is in dark red-brown (#460000) which matches the figure's outline. + The Red Letter Saints palette is the same for all nineteen images from the book with minor variations. It consists of the following colours (with hex codes): cream (#FEEFBE), medium yellow (#F1D168), medium yellow-green (#999954), medium light aqua (#ACCBB1), medium dark aqua (#8CAC98), mauve (#E6BEA5), salmon pink (#FAAE8B), peach (#F5BD94), brownish orange (#E48B11), beige (#E8C6A1), dark gold (#87722E), and dark red-brown (#460000). I like the design features on the website. They enable the fitting of a good quality Print to an existing frame.
This Print was of excellent quality. I would buy again.
One small gripe is that the image was not centred horizontally (about 3mm out) so needed trimming. No great hardship and may have been my fault in the setting-up.
Next time, I would choose to set the text below the picture to a smaller font.
Overall - Thank You! Looks good in its frame - Just as expected. I had a very expensive Gallery print of this before. It got damaged - hence the replacement. It compares very well.
