This design features Italian Alessandro Turchi's painting "Saint Agatha Attended by Saint Peter and an Angel in Prison", painted between 1640 and 1645. This painting depicts an early Christian legend revolving around Saint Agatha, who was tortured in the third century AD after refusing the advances of a Roman Centurion. In this scene, St. Agatha is visited by St. Peter and an angel in prison. It is painted in the baroque fashion.

Really nice image fixed to the tiles in my shower as a background to a soap dish. This was to hide the marks left by a broken soap dish. Just used tile adhesive and white grout. I think it looks good, almost like the drips are falling from the soap dish. No probs. Nice image.
