"Old Style Hurricane Preparation!" That's the playful message on this fun postcard. Featuring the oldest wooden schoolhouse in the USA, built between 1702-1716 in St. Augustine, Florida, this card adds a little humour with a giant anchor and chains. Installed in 1937, these heavy-duty chains were put in place to keep the building from floating away during a hurricane. Thankfully, they've done their job! This unique piece of Florida history is captured in an original photo by JLW_PHOTOGRAPHY.
