St. Michael the Archangel. I drew this piece years ago but I decided to reuse the image format for the rest of my work on the saints. I learned from an exorcist that the most powerful angel is Lucifer, so how humiliating it is for him to be cast down by an angel of lower rank. Michael means “Who is like God?” The answer is no one. As commander of the holy angels, we can ask him to help us fight the hidden spiritual battles that pervade our daily lives. We can’t see the battles except in the way they manifest themselves, especially in the choices people make. Love and life, or sin and death? St. Michael, please protect my spirit, and help me choose your side every single day.
