Steam Yacht SY Vanduara 1906
Painting of Steam Yacht SY Vanduara by de Simone 1906
The Vanduara was an all-steel screw schooner. It was designed by George Lennox Watson and built by D. & W. Henderson in Glasgow in 1886. The 450 tonne yacht was owned by Mr. Stewart Clark. The yacht flew the colours of the Royal Victoria Yacht Club off Naples. Antonio de Simone, who lived from 1880 or 1877 to around 1920, painted a gouache of the yacht off the Bay of Naples in 1906.

Creator Review
Looked great and was perfect for my Nana's 99th it arrived super quick so much quicker than sending the original from the other side of the world! My Nan loved my artwork too and the picture of us inside helped her remember who I was as she has Alzheimer's. Crisp and clear. Bright and colorful true to the original artwork I created. The photo we placed inside also looked great and clear.
