    Still life paintings by Vincent van Gogh is the substance of many drawings, sketches and paintings made during Vincent van Gogh’s early artistic career. Most still lifes made in the Netherlands are dated from 1884 to 1885, when van Gogh lived in Nuenen—“Still-life with earthenware, glass of beer and bottles” was one of those pieces done in Nuenen, he created the piece in 1884—medium oil on canvas. His works were often in sombre colours.
