This notebook is made very well. It is labeled soft cover, but it has like a thin flexible laminate on the top and bottom so moisture will not ruin it. I like to have the option of wide or narrow ruled when ordering.

I contacted customer service, and within 3 business days (at no extra cost to myself) the gift was resent to me and arrived in time for Christmas! The black cat planner is perfect for anyone who loves cats and especially black cats. It's a great and personalized tool to help plan your 2003 year. The spiral bound notebook is sturdy and not like the ones that open like a book. It's also the perfect size for carrying around and the print is not too big or small. It comes in soft or hard cover and I was very happy with the soft one. All in all, a very attractive planner to pull out when needed.

Printing turned out nicely on this one. You have to be careful with choice of color so that it stands out from the background.
