Stormy Sea with a Shipwreck (by Marcus Larson) Card

This design features a painting by the Swedish artist Marcus Larson (1825–1864). It shows a sailing ship being wrecked against rocks in stormy seas. The ship is being dashed against a rocky coastal landscape. There also appear to be some people standing on some of the rocks: perhaps these are shipwrecked sailors. The sky is cloudy and there are some birds flying through the air. The original art was painted by Marcus Larson in 1857.

The image is perfect for a romantic occasion though I made the mistake of thinking it was a greeting card when in fact it is a postcard - my mistake but easily happens. Took a little while to print and to be sent from overseas I think. Good quality card and printing.
