Stranded Jellyfish Series Coordinating Iems Round Sticker
Jellyfish are familiar to just about everyone. They live in every sea, are older than dinosaurs, and even serve as food for some cultures. Since many jellies have no means of locomotion, they are at the mercy of wind and tide. High tide often leaves them stranded on the sand drying in the sun. Jellyfish can sting (some stings are harmless to people, but many are not), and the best remedy for a hapless encounter is vinegar. Some people say that in an emergency you can urinate on the sting and this helps - not proven but anecdotal evidence lends some credence to this idea. This type of jellyfish didn't sting me, but I can't pin down an ID for it. Use caution with jellies and definitely don't touch any that have obvious tentacles.
