On the front we've given this minimalist design a warm touch with a 'happy holidays' greeting based on our own handwriting in black in a relaxed script that feels intimate and familiar. This handwriting element of the design is black and can't be altered, as it's an image. You can change the colour, font or text size of any of the other text. Your name and year text on the front is black by default. On both sides of the card we've set the background as transparent to let the colour of the paper simply serve as the base tone. You can change this on one or both sides by picking a colour in the editing tools if you'd like. On the back of this postcard template, above the text you'll notice a sprig of holiday greenery, which you can remove if you prefer. The default colour of the text on the back is black. We've put some sample message text below that for you to replace with your own message, but please don't feel restricted by this. If you prefer to delete our sample text and then keep that message space totally blank so that you can write a handwritten note on the back of each postcard instead, you can of course do that. Or you might want to replace our text with your own message and your own closing and then hand sign your names when you receive the cards. We've chosen matte as the default paper type, as it is well suited to writing your own message on and won't smudge and complements this natural, understated design well. But you can of course change this to semi-gloss if you prefer a brighter look. Just please be sure to remember that there is sample message text and a sample return address on the back as well as a photo and text on the front of the postcard for you to replace and edit.
