We live where the bay meets the ocean's entrance. Soon after September begins and the beach is empty, you see the different kinds of falling leaves start to float on the surface of the saltwater and swim in and out with the waves. The colours of the leaves in the northeast and the water around sunset looks like this colourful apron design, to me :) The illustrated leaves were coloured by natural light as well.
