Sun Child and Moon Child ART PRINT fairy goddess
"Sun Child and Moon Child" - one of my favourite paintings to date, I love the colours in this one. Loosely inspired by the song "Moonchild" by King Crimson - these sisters stand together, but separately - representing the sun (on your left) and the moon (on your right). The sky & sea are both shown here reflecting the day/night dichotomy. Sun Child is cradling a chalice holding the light of the sun, and Moon Child carries a vessel containing the crescent moon. A rooster represents day/morning, and the moon-bunny is for the night. This is a piece I debuted & sold at Dragon*Con 2011 - originally it was in a really neat diptych (two-panelled) altarpiece frame that my husband Matt made for me. Even though the original has sold though, I have prints & other merchandise featuring these beauties! I like the design features on the website. They enable the fitting of a good quality Print to an existing frame.
This Print was of excellent quality. I would buy again.
One small gripe is that the image was not centred horizontally (about 3mm out) so needed trimming. No great hardship and may have been my fault in the setting-up.
Next time, I would choose to set the text below the picture to a smaller font.
Overall - Thank You! Looks good in its frame - Just as expected. I had a very expensive Gallery print of this before. It got damaged - hence the replacement. It compares very well.
