Vase with Twelve Sunflowers is the third version of the second sunflowers series by Vincent van Gogh, painted in Arles during August 1888. The background is blue-green and the flowers seem much more yellow than in the former two versions. Oil on canvas, 91 x 72 cm. Munich, Neue Pinakothek. F 456, JH 1561 Vincent Willem van Gogh (30 March 1853 – 29 July 1890) was a Dutch Post-Impressionist artist. Beautiful card to commemorate a Saints feast day. Disappointed it didn’t come with an envelope though, but I’m sure this was just an oversight. Have ordered from this shop before and the products are always beautifully unique. Printing perfect as always. Lots of beautiful designs to choose from.
