It's sunset on a sunny summer September day at Cape Kiwanda in Pacific Beach, Oregon. The amazing basalt seastack in the background is silhouetted with the unusual chute of rock to the right. The sun is dipping in the sky, but people are grabbing the last rays on surfboards, on foot while beachcombing, on bikes, and swimming in the water. This amazing beach is a mecca for surfers and beach enthusiasts, with a huge sand dune to climb and people watching. This beach is also home of Oregon's dory fleet of fast fishing boats.
