"Surf's Up" Birthday Party Invitation

Let's go surfing! This "Surf's Up" at the Beach Birthday Party invitation is perfect to send to your family and friends for that big celebration you are planning this summer. Be sure to bring your bathing suit, towel and of course your surf board! It was summer and while walking along the beach on Long Beach Island, I took this photo of the stormy seas of the Atlantic Ocean. This seascape, at the Jersey Shore, captures the awesome power of nature. As the curl of the wave reaches its crest, a westerly wind creates a wispy spray and the wave culminates in this large long tube breaking in the middle. The weather was overcast as a northeaster passes by offshore. Dark grey cumulus clouds loom heavy over a stormy sea. A gull is seen along the edge of the surf, just upland of the rough whitewater as the breakers and waves come crashing ashore. Colour Photography on LBI during a noreaster.
