Psalm 147:3 was Sylvia's anthem verse while she was here. Many prayed this verse over her constantly. Their desire was for Sylvia's heart to be healed here on earth. Their prayers were not answered in the way they desperately wanted, and even through the pain and sorrow, they know the goodness of God prevails. In heaven, Sylvia's heart is healed completely, free of pain and suffering, and waiting in joyful anticipation for her loved ones to join her one day. Her family and friends now pray this verse over themselves, as they ask God to tend to the wounds of missing Sylvia dearly, wounds which will never heal completely until being reunited with her in heaven. Until then, they lean into this promise and trust God to give them what they need to sustain the journey, and ask Him what it is He'd have them do next. This is the ultimate hope for any CHD patient, that the hearts in their bodies be healed and they may live long and happy lives. Sylvia's family continues to pray for miracles and memories for these families, and also extends their deepest empathy and open arms to the families who do not receive the gift of more time with their loved ones. We hope this verse brings comfort and peace to your heart, as it does to ours. *From now until December 31st, all proceeds will go towards CHD research in honour of Sylvia's December 14th birthday.
