Welcome to Female Contemporary Art: a diverse portfolio of original artworks works by taiche.
My artwork is eclectic in style and theme and ranges from cute through dark, from political to satire, from realist to abstract. My style is influenced by mood and subject: I paint an image how I see it. I embrace my diversity and the fact that I am able to paint a subject in more than one way.
My hobby became a professional concern in 2008 when opened a series of POD stores: my work style has developed and my art and photographic portfolios have been growing steadily since then. During 2011 - 2015 my productivity declined in coincidence with taking a full time role caring for my husband. Following this in May 2015 I became involved in the update of a touristic website: re-writing and photography. In January 2016 I returned to painting and being a self representing artist.

I am a supporter of equailty in every sense and have donated works to be auctioned for charitable events. To date I have supported the cause of the Derbyshire Rainbow Fringe Festival and Rainbow Routes. These works were exhibited during the Festival September 24th to October 3rd 2010 and auctioned as part of the Festival proceedings in October 2010 and 2011. A further four works were donated for charitable causes in 2012.
In August 2012 I was commissioned by the Kaptan June Sea Turtle Conservation Foundation of Dalyan, Turkey to illustrate an educational book for on the lifecycle of the endangered Loggerhead Turtle. The book was published in 2013.
