Taidushan Empress Dark Avenger Tie

Taidushan Empress is my first fractal composition for the new year 2015 and it's another fractal portrait piece, that unlike my other fractal art compositions uses fractal cutouts for most of the piece. What I've done here is use the magic wand tool and a mask brush when required to isolate the element from its background creating a solid piece. Then as one would do with a collage, I assembled the elements into a working headdress that fitted nicely to my favourite rendered face. I also used several fractal composition based kaleidoscopes to build up the piece complexity without adding to the fractal or layer cout of the image. This is a trimmed down version of the main piece which will be available as a three panel set at my xzendor7 Zazzle account since it's to big to be printed as one piece. I will also have three slightly different pieces for t-shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies at my xzendor7 Spreadshirt account for those that are interested in having this piece as wearable art. The total number of working layers in Taidushan Empress is 151 with 57 of them being separate fractal elements and another dozen or so going into the sword logo. I used the Fractron 9000 fractal generator, Kaleider kaleidoscope generator, Mehdi kaleidscope generator plugin and the Photo Elements Image Editor to create this piece. Taidushan Empress Dark Avenger
