"Talk Story" T-Shirt

"Talk Story" is part of my series of pastes I've done of "Afro Latinas". This group is of Colombian Fruit Vendors in Cartagena, Colombia. I love working with pastels. But with all my lung issues they are very toxic to me. I'm so glad these new hard pastels have come out. I've enjoyed doing this series. I like catching people in their daily life. Capturing their expressions and emotions. One of the many things I love about these women is that they allow us to see them at work. They are all "working women". Just like many of us. I can almost imagine them talking around a water cooler, in a conference room. We are all so much more connected than we think.
