Teachers CAN Quote by SRF T-Shirt

If a teacher can teach it, the teacher can do it. There's something very wrong with the negative statement that those who "can't" teach. I've been on both sides with careers in art (etc.); yet, I certainly couldn't teach it if I couldn't do it. Also, if the connotation of the negative saying is that people become teachers due to failing in other areas, I disagree there also. As in any field, sure, you have your good and bad. The idea of teaching never even dawned on me as a field of interest years ago; yet, once I got into it, I see how much effort and talent so many put into it ... and patience working with so many children daily in overcrowded classrooms without enough supplies / resources in many cases (caring about the education of the child and the welfare of the child) ... as well as the deluge of paperwork with which teachers are faced daily, and in many cases, the paperwork changes with every new program a district purchases .... answering to administrators and others ... and I could stay on this soapbox all night, so here, I'll end and say that I hope you enjoy this shirt ... : ) I'll offer a black and white version since I've locked the text on this.
