The Adoration of the Magi (by Edward Burne-Jones) 6 Cm Round Badge
This design features a high-definition image of an original tapestry by Sir Edward Burne-Jones, who worked with the famous textile designer William Morris. The artwork was commissioned in 1886 by the rector of Exeter College, part of the University of Oxford. It depicts the traditional Christian story of the Three Kings who were guided to the birthplace of Jesus by the star of Bethlehem. The tapestry took four years of painstaking work to complete.
