This design features a painting by the Italian artist Gerolamo Induno (1825–1890). It shows two elegant women sitting in a grand room that is being used as a nursery. A young baby is sleeping gracefully in its crib, which is an elaborate piece of golden furniture. One of the women is sewing with a needle and thread, while the other woman is sitting next to the baby and leaning on its crib. The women are clearly very wealthy, as the room is expensively and elaborated decorated. The original artwork was painted by Gerolamo Induno in 1870.

The application of this decoupage paper was very simple , applied with PVA glue on a plywood surface. The colour stayed true to paper before application . I used cling film to apply over ply wood , no wrinkles , very pleased with the result.
