The Birth Of Venus Poster
The Birth of Venus-A work of art by the Florentine painter Sandro Botticelli.
Painted between 1484-1486,it depicts the goddess of love Venus,after emerging from the sea as an adult woman,
Venus stands on a seashell, being blown to shore by Zephyr, god of the west wind.Horae, goddesses of the seasons,stands ready with a cape to clothe the newborn deity.
Zephyr carries either an Aura (nymphs of the wind) or Chloris, a nymph associated with spring and blossoming flowers like those seen throughout the picture.
The painting is in the collection of the Uffizi Gallery in Florence.

I like the design features on the website. They enable the fitting of a good quality Print to an existing frame.
This Print was of excellent quality. I would buy again.
One small gripe is that the image was not centred horizontally (about 3mm out) so needed trimming. No great hardship and may have been my fault in the setting-up.
Next time, I would choose to set the text below the picture to a smaller font.
Overall - Thank You! Looks good in its frame - Just as expected. I had a very expensive Gallery print of this before. It got damaged - hence the replacement. It compares very well.
