The Budd Company - A Railroad Legend Poster

From www.railphotoexpress.biz From the 1930s until 1989 The Budd Company was a leading manufacturer of stainless steel streamlined passenger rolling stock for a number of railroads. They built the Pioneer for the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad in 1934, and hundreds of streamlined lightweight stainless steel passenger cars for new trains in the USA in the 1930s and 1940s. In the 1950s Budd built a set of two-story or high-level cars for the Santa's El Capitan and Super Chief passenger trains, which became the prototypes for the Amtrak Super liner cars of the 1980s.

I like the design features on the website. They enable the fitting of a good quality Print to an existing frame. This Print was of excellent quality. I would buy again. One small gripe is that the image was not centred horizontally (about 3mm out) so needed trimming. No great hardship and may have been my fault in the setting-up. Next time, I would choose to set the text below the picture to a smaller font. Overall - Thank You! Looks good in its frame - Just as expected. I had a very expensive Gallery print of this before. It got damaged - hence the replacement. It compares very well.
