The Fantastical City of Muse Postcard

This postcard is a mixed media collage piece about the City of Muse in the Undiscovered Country of Tirahvaalta, a dreamlike, mysterious place of my own invention. The City of Muse is rather rather a circus with a Victorian/Asian feel to it. Muse is the city where artists, poets and Musicians dwell. In this image, we seen the Fei Tian, the patron "fairy" or spirit of the city sporting parrot feathers atop her head. She is surrounded by performers and musicians, one of them being the Illustrious Lord Armoire doing his acrobatic piano playing. The collage was made using images transfers, vintage imagery, fabric, some digital collage, stamps, and coloured pencil.
