Wakamizu no fukucha
Print shows a tea party with two women, one holding a teapot, and a child. Japanese painter and wood engraver, born in Edo (now Tokyo). He is considered one of the outstanding figures of the Ukiyoe, or "pictures of the floating world" (everyday life), school of printmaking. Hokusai is generally more appreciated in the West than in Japan. His prints, as well as those by other Japanese printmakers, were imported to Paris in the mid 19th century

Beautiful card to commemorate a Saints feast day. Disappointed it didn’t come with an envelope though, but I’m sure this was just an oversight. Have ordered from this shop before and the products are always beautifully unique. Printing perfect as always. Lots of beautiful designs to choose from.
