The Great God Pan Magnet
One for the etymologists! Pan, the great god of woods and nature, has only to blow on his conch to send all who listened into a panic - all who heard were struck by a terrible, unreasoning fear, and fled! It was interesting drawing this today, I asked several of my family what colour panic was, and got a myriad of different answers...none of which I used in the end (but all of which were very interesting), for the panic spiralling from Pan's conch. In the end I chose what looked good to my eye.
