When they reached the hunting grounds they quickly unloaded the sled and started building the defences and set the trap. Once all was ready they start the fire and burn the bones that they had brought with them. They learned long ago that the smell of the burnt bones attracts the giant crabs who then come ashore into the carefully laid out trap.
